Process and device for fixedly retaining adjacent boards, panels or the like while their definitive joining takes place

Process for fixedly retaining, end to end, two articles, especially boards, panels, planks and the like, while their definitive joining takes place by adhesive bonding and/or coating with a curable material; before the curing of the adhesive and/or of the curable material, a flat joining part (1) provided with at least two tongues or tabs (3, 3') is inserted transversely between the contact faces of the two articles (6 and 6'), in such a way that the ends of these tongues or tabs come to bear on the lower face of the assembly, and the top of the flat part (1) is fixed against the upper face of the assembly. Procédé pour le maintien fixe, bout-à-bout, de deux objets, notamment planches, plaques, madriers et similaires, pendant que s'opère leur jonction définitive par collage ou/et enduction avec une matière durcissable; avant le durcissement de la colle ou/et de la matière durcissable, on introduit tranversalement entre les faces de contact des deux objets (6 et 6') une pièce de jonction plate (1), munie d'au moins deux languettes ou ergots (3,3'), de façon à ce que les bouts de ces languettes ou ergots viennent d'appuyer sur la face inférieure de l'ensemble, et on fixe le haut de la pièce plate (1) contre la face supérieure de l'ensemble.
