Zusammenfassung:Process for the pretreatment of parts for a composite camshaft, in the manufacture of which drive elements are frictionally fixed on a tube by plastic expansion of individual tube sections when the limit of elasticity of the material is exceeded, in which process the material at one tube end is tempered to an increased tensile strength in order to insert a sleeve to be expanded which is connected to a drive pinion, using tube material of lower yield point suitable for the plastic expansion with respect to the drive elements, or the tube sections envisaged as bearings are hardened at the boundary layer to produce bearing properties.
