Zusammenfassung:A 1 alpha or 24R,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3 amino acid derivative of formula(I): wherein: R1 is OH or -O-CO-A-NH2; R2 is H, OH or -O-CO-A-NH2; and R3 is H, OH or -O-CO-A-NH2; wherein A is C1-10 alkylene, with the proviso that: (1) one of R2 and R3 is H and the other is OH or -O-CO-A-NH2; (2) one of R1 and R2 is OH and the other is -O-CO-A-NH2; or (3) one of R1 and R3 is OH and the other is -O-CO-A-NH2; and an iodine radioisotope-labelled 1 alpha or 24R,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3 derivative of formula (III): wherein: R12 is OH or -O-CO-A-NH-R5; R22 is H, OH or -O-CO-A-NH-R5; and R32 is H, OH or -O-CO-A-NH-R5; wherein A is C1-10 alkylene and R5 is a group containing an iodine radioisotope, with the proviso that: (1) one of R22 and R32 is H and the other is OH or -O-CO-A-NH-R5; (2) one of R12 and R22 is OH and the other is -O-CO-A-NH-R5; or (3) one of R12 and R32 is OH and the other is -O-CO-A-NH-R5.
