SKI BINDING

This ski binding has a sole-plate which is pivotable about a pivot pin fixed to the ski and on which a heel holder, a front jaw and a ski brake with two repeatedly angled brake spikes are arranged. In this connection, in the sole-plate between the pivot pin and the heel holder, two bearings are provided for the transverse sections of the brake spikes which form the pivot shaft of the same. In order, in this ski binding (2), to make possible simple replacement of the ski brake (10), the invention envisages that each bearing is made divided in the direction of its height, the lower bearing half (8g) being cut out as a depression in an upwardly open recess (8e) of the sole-plate (8) and the upper bearing half (10d) being cut out in a bearing shell (10c) which can be inserted into the recess (8e) and fastened therein.
