Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a vehicle tyre having a carcase which is embraced by two bead cores, the bead cores consisting of rigidity carriers such as plastic filaments and/or metal wires and it being possible to turn up the beads. In order to improve the objects required of the beads without adversely affecting their facility to turn up, it is proposed that the surface of the rigidity carriers of the bead cores prevents adhesion to vulcanised rubber, at least when the rigidity carriers are moistened in the vulcanisation position of rubber, so that each rigidity carrier is individually rotatable about its longitudinal axis with respect to the surrounding bead rubber.
