Zusammenfassung:	Sealing element consisting of an elastic material for an implantable medical apparatus. So that the sealing element can be pierced through by an instrument and, after removal of this instrument, it still seals off hermetically, the invention proposes that the sealing element (7, 27, 28, 29) consist of a ring (8, 14, 15, 16) whose wall thickness (9) is greater than the radius (10) of the annular opening (11, 20, 21, 22), and where, by flanging the ring (8, 14, 15, 16), its outer edge (12, 17, 18, 19) is turned inwards so that the annular opening (11, 20, 21, 22) is sealed off.
