Article removing detector device for a self-service unit

To detect the extraction of an article at a self-service unit (1), the self-service unit (1) is provided with at least one lock (3), releaseable only by means of a code or key, and furthermore a pulse transmitter which, when the article (5) is extracted, transmits a pulse to a recording unit, where the extraction is recorded. The code used for the release is assigned to a person or to an account and, by the automatic transmission of the code to the recording unit, allows the direct assignment of the article extraction to this person or the debiting of the corresponding account. Particularly with regard to bottle display cases (1) in hotels where there is self-service by waiters, this ensures that an accurate monitoring of the bottle extraction is possible in only a small amount of time and without any outlay in terms of monitoring equipment.
