Zusammenfassung:	An electromechanical actuator for control elements of injector-pump units, in particular for the element used to adjust the delivery quantity and/or the beginning of injection, in which a hollow- cylindrical rotor (10) of magnetisable material, spring-loaded in one direction of rotation, is mechanically connected to the control element of the injector-pump unit (1) and is arranged essentially concentrically around an actuating element of the injection plunger (3), and assigned to the rotor (10, 29, 43, 47, 60, 62) is a stator (15, 21, 30, 46, 61, 63) which has at least one pole shoe (16, 17, 24a..f, 28, 31, 32) and at least one excitation coil (18, 25a..f 34, 48, 68).
