Zusammenfassung:	Folding top of a motor vehicle, having a cover linkage which has a front transverse bow (23) and on the two rear side regions in each case a main connecting rod (8) which can be swivelled about a transverse axis (5'). A longitudinal connecting rod (connecting rod 2', roof connecting rod 3', 6) which runs approximately in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in the closed position of the folding top is arranged in each case between a main connecting rod (8) and the front transverse bow (23). The two laterally opposite longitudinal connecting rods (roof connecting rod 3') are connected to form a carrier frame (9') in order to increase the stability of the folding top in the roof region.
