Solid-state laser

The laser head (3) of the laser (1) is connected to the base (2) of the latter by hinges having a common axis (R) parallel to the axis (4a) of the laser beam. When the lamp for exciting the laser rod has to be replaced, it is thereby possible to swivel the head (3) about the axis (R) as far as a position in which this lamp can easily be extracted from its housing and a new lamp can be inserted into this housing, this extraction and this insertion being carried out by displacing the lamp along its axis (5a). La tête laser (3) du laser (1) est reliée à la base (2) de celui-ci par des charnières ayant un axe commun (R) parallèle à l'axe (4a) du faisceau laser. Lorsque la lampe d'excitation du barreau laser doit être remplacée, il est ainsi possible de faire pivoter la tête (3) autour de l'axe (R) jusqu'à une position où cette lampe peut être sortie facilement de son logement et où une lampe neuve peut être introduite dans ce logement, cette sortie et cette introduction étant faites en déplaçant la lampe le long de son axe (5a).
