Zusammenfassung: | A piezoelectric bimorph is formed by uniformly poling a homogeneous sheet of piezoelectric material in a first direction and thereafter establishing a substantially linear temperature gradient across the sheet while concurrently applying a reverse poling field across the sheet of a magnitude selected for substantially depoling the middle layers of the sheet, poling the hotter layers in the reverse direction and leaving the cooler layers poled in the first direction. The impedance of the piezoelectric material is monitored to terminate reverse poling when the otter and cooler layers are substantially equally poled. |
