Zusammenfassung:A servo actuator for satellite application is proposed. The servo actuator consists essentially of a drive unit (10), arranged inside the satellite structure, for driving the antenna or the solar panel (not represented), a bearing unit (16) for axially and radially supporting the drive shaft (13), and a slipring arrangement (7), which is connected to the other end of the drive shaft (13), for transmitting signals and/or electrical energy. In this servo actuator, the drive unit (10) is arranged in a region in the interior of the satellite that is remote from the outer skin of the satellite, and the slip ring arrangement (7) is arranged in the vicinity of the outer skin of the satellite. A cylindrical slip ring disc carrier 2 embraces with a slight air gap (17) a substantial part of a cylindrical stator of the bearing unit (16).
