Zusammenfassung:	In a process for gene transfer in plants, a) unripe pollen grains are removed from the stamens, placed in nutrient solution, and the surrounding tissue is removed, b) the isolated unripe pollen grains are cultured in nutrient solution, c) exogenous genetic material is transferred to the pollen grains during the in vitro culturing and ripening, d) the transformed pollen grains are fully ripened in vitro, e) the receiver plants are pollenated with the transformed pollen grains and their seeds are collected. The invention also concerns transgenic seeds and reproduction products.
