Zusammenfassung:	Finely divided homopolymers and copolymers of vinyl chloride having a mean particle size of less than 10 mu m are used for matting plastic films. The low particle size means that, when the matting agent is admixed with the polymer composition, an excellent matting effect of the film produced therefrom is obtained without occurrence of the surface structuring which takes place when conventional matting agents are used.
