Zusammenfassung:An electrophotographic imaging member having an imaging surface adapted to accept a negative electrical charge. The imaging member comprises a metal ground plane layer (8) comprising at least 50 per cent by weight of zirconium, a hole blocking layer (4), a charge generation layer (6) comprising photoconductive particles dispersed in a film forming resin binder, and a hole transport layer (7). The hole transport layer is substantially non-absorbing in the spectral region at which the charge generation layer generates and injects photogenerated holes but is capable of supporting the injection of photogenerated holes from the charge generation layer and transporting the holes through the charge transport layer.
