Zusammenfassung:	The composition is in the form of an aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic formulation containing as film former carboxyl-containing polymers whose carboxyl groups are neutralised 50 to 90 mol% with alkanolamines and 10 to 50 mol% with ammonia. Despite a low alcohol content of from 0 to 15 % by weight, the film formers are effectively dissolved, but after application remain on the hair as a consequence of the volatility of the ammonia in the partially neutralised state and thus bring about permanent setting.
