Zusammenfassung: | In a supporting device for a matrix print head (12), the latter and a first rocker (26) carrying a sensor (34) for determining the thickness of a recording carrier (32) are mounted on a bearing surface (16) so as to be able to turn about axes (22, 24) parallel to each other and to the support (30) for the recording carrier (32), the print head (12) being adjustable relative to the support (30) depending upon the distance of the sensor (34) from the latter. The print head (12) is secured to a second rocker (28), which is aligned in a direction essentially parallel to the first rocker (26) and is supported via a mounting (38) on the first rocker (26). Here, each distance 11, 12, 13 and 14 of the mounting (38) measured vertically to the rocker axes (22, 24) from the sensor (34), from the axis (22) of the first rocker (26), from the printing head mouthpiece (14) and from the axis (24) of the second rocker (28) is chosen so that the relationship 11+12 DIVIDED 12=13+14 DIVIDED 14 is at least approximately satisfied, where 13 is greater than l1 and 14 is greater than 12. |
