Zusammenfassung:	An anti-air embolism device (10) for use between a patient's CVP (central venous pressure) catheter and source of fluid comprising inlet connection mean (13) adapted to connect said device (10) with a source of fluid; an outlet means (19) including means for locking (28) said device to the patient's CVP catheter; a passageway (14, 18, 19) connecting said inlet (13) and outlet (28) conncetion means for fluid passage, and an occluder (16) interposed within said passageway to prevent the entrainment of air within the patient's CVP catheter upon disconnection of a source of fluid at said inlet connection (13) means.
