ROLLER SHUTTER, IN PARTICULAR FOR OPENINGS OF VEHICLES SUCH AS FIRE PROTECTION VEHICLES

In a roller shutter (1) for openings, in particular on vehicles such as fire protection vehicles, there are provided two lateral guide rails (2) in which the individual roller shutter panels are guided at their ends by means of slide blocks. The guide rails (2), which have essentially a U-shaped design in cross-section, possess at the outsides of the U-leg and at the U-base longitudinal recesses (4, 6) for receiving component parts, such as roller shutter switch (5) and/or covering strip (7). A longitudinal recess (8) can also be provided on the inside of the U-leg, so that a sealing strip (3) can be releasably attached. Thus, simple fastening elements for individual component parts of roller shutters are provided, and these have an additional increase in the bending stability of the (light-weight) guide rails (2).
