Zusammenfassung:A method of obtaining microcarriers for cultivation of cells consists in forming particles of gelatin either by means of treating gelatin solution with a cross-linking agent and a subsequent disintegration of the resulting gelatin block-polymer into particles of irregular form and separation of particles of a size ensuring the optimal growth of cells thereon, or by means of disintegration of dry gelatin into particles of irregular form and subsequent separation of particles of a size ensuring the optimal growth of cells thereon and their treatment with a cross-linking agent after which the thus-formed particles are treated with a proteolytic ferment and stabilized. The microcarriers for cultivation of cells are particles of gelatine block-polymer of irregular form measuring 75 to 350 microns and having a specific gravity of 1.03 to 1.15 g/cm .
