Gonatriene derivatives and process for preparing them

The compounds disclosed herein have the general formula (I) and high anti-gonadotropic activity: wherein R represents alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; X represents halogen atom, cyano group, -OR , -SR , -SOR or -SCN where R is alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R , R , R and R independently represent hydrogen atom, halogen atom or alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R and R independently represent hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or hydroxy group, or jointly form oxo group; R represents hydrogen atom or alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and Y represents hydrogen atoms, -COR or R where each of R and R is alkyl group or aryl group optionally substituted with halogen, oxygen, nitrogen or sulfur atoms. And, processes for preparing these compounds are also disclosed herein.
