Zusammenfassung: | The letter is formed from a continuous rectangular carrier web (5). Said web has at least two tear-off edge strips (18; 19) which can be separated from the other surface areas (A1 ... A6) of the carrier web (5) by means of longitudinal perforations (16; 17). The carrier web (5) is folded together at least along two transverse folding points (11 ... 15) to form a folded letter. In this case, adhesive applications (25; 26) are mounted on some surface areas of the tear-off edge strips (18; 19), by means of which adhesive applications the adjacent surface portions (A1 ... A3; A4 ... A6), which are folded onto one another, are held together as long as the tear-off edge strips (18; 19) are not separated. Further adhesive applications, for example to form a return envelope, may be mounted inside the tear-off edge strips (18; 19). At one or more points in each case between two adjacent surface portions (A2, A3; A3, A4; A5, A6) there is in each case an incision (21; 22; 23) extending in the transverse direction from one longitudinal perforation (18) to the other longitudinal perforation (19). |
