Zusammenfassung:Head comprising a layer (1) of a ferromagnetic material, arranged close to a magnetic recording medium (5). A means of heating (F1) allows the local heating of the layer (1) of ferromagnetic material to a temperature reaching the Curie temperature of the ferromagnetic material. Each heated region is thus demagnetised and constitutes a recording air-gap for the recording medium (5). This invention applies in recording onto a magnetic tape.
