A composition for filling a cable, which contains at least one optical fibre and which can be used between -50 degrees C and + 80 degrees C, said composition being characterised in that it can be injected at a temperature below 60 degrees C, and in that it is composed of : i) 80 to 95% by weight of at least one lubricant base of a viscosity lower than 6000 mPa.s at -40 degrees C, and ii) 20 to 5% by weight of a gelling product belonging to the group comprising the hydroxysubstituted hydrophobic soaps of saturated higher fatty acids, alone or mixed with soaps of saturated higher fatty acids of alkaline and alkaline-earth metals, Bentone and colloidal silica, and in that its dropping point is higher than 120 degrees C and its cone penetrability is between 250 and 400 tenths of a millimetre at +25 degrees C and between 150 and 250 tenths of a millimetre at -40 degrees C.
L'invention concerne une composition de remplissage d'un câble, notamment d'un câble contenant au moins une fibre optique, utilisable entre -50°C et +80°C. Selon l'invention, cette composition comprend : i) 80 à 95% en poids d'au moins une base lubrifiante de viscosité inférieure à 7000 mm²s¹ à -40°C, et ii) 20 à 5% en poids d'un produit gélifiant. Son point de goutte est supérieur à 120°C et sa pénétrabilité au cône est comprise entre 250 et 400 dixièmes de millimètres à +25°C, et entre 150 et 250 dixièmes de millimètres à -40°C. |
