Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a process for obtaining non-amidated derivatives of somatocrinin of formula GRF(1-43)-X, in which X is leucine, glycine, valine or alanine, by a genetic engineering process which enables the said derivatives to be obtained linked to a carrier protein via a tryptophan residue, and by subsequent cleavage of the product obtained at the tryptophan to yield the said derivatives.
