Zusammenfassung:	A signal synthesizer for providing output signals having predetermined relationship to each other with respect to phase or frequency comprises two signal channels, each channel having a signal source (101;102) and a mixer (110;111) for combining the output signals (103;104) of the signal sources with a reference signal to produce synthesized signals. The output of the signal source of one of the two channels can be coupled to the mixers of both channels. Thus, the synthesized signals can be swept over a frequency range with a precise phase or frequency offset between the two signals.
