Zusammenfassung: | In a fire-resistant glazing according to DIN 4102, which consists of a metal, wood or silicate frame (6) having glass-holding strips (7) and at least one transparent, homogeneous, reinforced or composite pane, as single- or multi-pane glazing, of glass or glass ceramic, and associated seals (5) or insert strips, a means which expands, preferably with a slight time delay, with the onset of a fire is so arranged between pane and frame part that a sufficiently high pressure between pane edge and frame part is formed perpendicularly with respect to the pane surface in such a manner that a tightening of the edge of the pane (2) is ensured in the frame (6) without additional bending of the frame edge, even at high temperatures or after long fire-resistance times. The expanding means used are intumescent materials (1), springs, bimetal strips or systems having gas filling. |
