Zusammenfassung:	The apparatus is primarily for operating a slave cylinder 18 of vehicle apparatus comprising a master cylinder 28 the slave cylinder 18 and a conduit 26 interconnecting the master and slave cylinders. The apparatus includes a connector 32 through which hydraulic fluid can pass and which comprises a pair of self sealing connector members 44, 46 which enable the cylinders to be interconnected through the conduit, the cylinders and conduit being filled with hydraulic fluid prior to installation in the vehicle. The slave cylinder may be integral or partly integral with a bell housing 14 for a friction clutch assembly or may be mounted on a transmission casing 15.
