Zusammenfassung:	Aqueous concentrated liquid fabric softening compositions contain at least 10%, such as between 20% and 40%, of a cationic fabric softening agent and at least 0.5%, such as between 10% and 20% of a material which is (I) or (II) where R is C8-C22 alkyl or alkenyl, M is hydrogen or alkalimetal, Y is hydrogen or -CH2COOM and X- is an anion, together with 5-30% of a non aqueous solvent, such as isopropanol. The compositions show good stability without the need for excessive levels of non aqueous solvent.
