Stopper for metallic containers

A plate, from which an oval spout (6) and a downwards directed projection (2) extend, is moulded in plastics. The projection terminates in a cuneiform profile (3) with tapered upper surfaces, which is of a similar shape to the aperture formed in the top of the can, when opened by a tear-off string. The profile is inserted through the aperture in the top of the can and the plate rotated by a vertical rib (4) until the spout is positioned above the aperture. During rotation, the tapered upper surfaces of the profile bear against the lower face of the top of the can, causing seals (1b) extending from the plate to seat on the upper face of the can. An integral cap (7) pref. extends from the rib, allowing the spout to be resealed when required. La présente invention regarde un bouchon pour la fermeture de récipients cylindriques en métal contenant des liquides, caractérisés en ce que le trou de transvasement consiste en une fente tracée sur le couvercle et ayant la forme d'un secteur circulaire, avec un angle au centre aigu. Il s'agit, fondamentalement, d'un bouchon monobloc, moulé en plastique, sur lequel est localisé un guichet ovoïdal, qui sert à fermer extérieurement le trou de transvasement, dans lequel va s'installer une plaque sous-jacente et solidaire du guichet même et qui a une épaisseur atténuée convenablement, de sorte que, à la suite de la rotation du bouchon, le guichet est graduellement écrasé et serré sur le couvercle de la boîte par une pression toujours plus croissante.
