Use of an amine-type or organo-metallic accelerator for hardening moisture-crosslinking, one-component polyisocyanates to give solid polyurethane adhesives, characterised in that the accelerator, dissolved in an inert, compatible thinner which remains in the hardened adhesive and does not sweat out therefrom, is mixed with the polyisocyanate, and this adhesive system is used as a two-component product in a two-component installation.
