An oil-vapourizing burner comprising an oil supply conduit (8), an air supply conduit (4), which is provided with a blower, and a cylindrical vapourizing pot (23), which is rotatable by a motor (5) and the interior of which communicates through an axial opening (42) with a combustion space (3), wherein the outer shell (24) of the vapourizing pot is heat-insulated from the supplied air (22) by an annular space, characterized in that the other axial end of the vapourizing pot (23) has also an opening (29), through which the interior of the vapourizing pot communicates with a space which radially surrounds the pot so that the exhaust gases from the burner are recirculated for a vapourization of the oil.
