Zusammenfassung: | 1. Resilient foams based on thermosetting phenolic resins or polyurethanes (excluding aminoplast foams according to German Laid-Open Applications DOS 2,915,457 and 2,950,289), whose foam structure consists essentially of a large number of interconnected, three-dimensionally branched struts, characterized by the following properties :- (a) The mean length-to-thickness ratio of the struts is higher than 10:1 ; (b) the percentage proportion M of the cell membranes which are left intact in the foam structure between the struts is less than 40% ; and (c) the percentage proportion P of the pores is less than 15% of the volume of the struts. |
