Zusammenfassung:The drive control system controls a feed shaft motor 22 of a machine tool which has the feed shaft motor 22 and a spindle motor 7. … If the spindle motor 7, when it should properly be rotating at constant speed during a machining operation, is subject to an overload and consequently experiences a drop in speed, the concomitant rise in armature current Ia is detected by absolute value circuit 32 which is provided by feedback circuit 12 with a voltage proportional to the armature current Ia. A comparator 33 determines whether the armature current Ia exceeds a predetermined level Ia1 and a timer circuit 35 determines whether the predetermined level is exceeded for more than a set period of time t1. If the level Ia1 is exceeded for more than time t1 the feed shaft motor 22 is slowed down. … If the armature current exceeds a higher level Ia2 for more than a different set period of time the feed shaft motor is stopped.
