Zusammenfassung:1. Portable optical sighting device allowing the rapid sighting of a target and comprising, on the one hand, grouped together in an enclosure adapted to be held in the hand, an optical sighting (21), inertial means of determining the direction of the optical sighting with respect to a previously determined direction, the said inertial means being rigidly fixed to the viewer (21), electronic means (40) coding the data issuing from the inertial means (28), recalibrating means with respect to the said previously determined distance, and on the other hand, a computer taking into account these datas, characterized in that it comprises validating means (23, 25) of the datas coding the measurements made in the inertial means and means of transmitting these validated datas to a computer located outside the enclosure, the said validating means (23, 25) being controlled either by manual control means (27) when the device is used with six degrees of freedom, or by recalibrating means (19) when the device is placed on a base conferring on the device a predetermined direction. La présente invention concerne les dispositifs de visée permettant la détermination de la direction d'une cible par la mesure automatique des paramètres la définissant. L'essentiel du dispositif consiste en une optique de visée (21), solidaire d'une centrale inertielle (28), munie de capteurs (1, 3, 4). Ces capteurs fournissent des tensions, fonction des paramètres de la direction de la cible visée, qui sont échantillonnées (30), et converties en mots binaires (23), transmis (24), à une unité de calcul extérieur au dispositif, par l'ordre de transmission (25), délivré par l'utilisateur (27). L'invention est utilisable dans tous les cas où l'opérateur doit garder une grande liberté de mouvement pour effecteur une visée de cible.
