Blasting gelatines formed of liquid explosives and 0.5 to 10% nitrocellulose, related to the liquid explosives, optionally in admixture with powder additives for gelatinous explosives, characterised by a content of elastomers which are soluble or swellable in the liquid explosives, with the elastomers being copolymers with polar and non-polar molecular sections and possessing a Mooney viscosity between 5 and 75 at 100 degrees C, and with the weight ratio of the elastomers to the nitrocellulose lying in the region of 1:10 to 10:1.
