Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to mining equipment for open pit development of mineral deposits and is intended for continuous destruction of rocks in deep quarries and formation of high slopes without any intermediate work sites. The device for rock destruction comprises a self-propelled frame (1) on a caterpillar module (2) with auxiliary equipment, the frame being connected to the operating element which consists of a rock cutting mechanism formed by horizontal (8) and vertical (9) cutting disks (hereinafter referred to as HCD (8) and VCD (9), and a rock separation mechanism shaped as a hollow blade (12) with a wedge-shaped working surface (13) and a cutting edge (14). HCDs (8) are located in the lower plane of the blade (12) and VCDs (9) are located at the blade lateral ends. Each HCD (8) is fitted with a base plate (15) featuring a longitudinal axial cavity (16) with a cover (17). Base plates (15) are rigidly fixed on the lower base (18) of the blade (12) with their rear ends, their wedge-shaped bottom faces (19) are placed above the shafts (20) of HCDs (8), while the end face edges protrude beyond the cutting edge (14) and lie in the same plane with it. The cutting edge (14) above the base plates (15) is at least 2/3 of HCD (8) diameter away from their cutting edges. Cutters (21) forming a triangle are mounted on the working surface (13) and are perpendicular to it and parallel to each other. The energy intensity of rock destruction is reduced as the rock layer is undercut, while the productivity and reliability of the device with the disk rock-breaking mechanism is increased.
