Lipstatin, a potent inhibitor of the pancreas lipase, is reported to be useful in the treatment and/or prevention of obesity and related diseases. The present invention describes a process allowing the production of said enzyme inhibitor in high yields and high purity. Настоящее изобретение относится к получению вторичных метаболитов и, в частности, к получению липстатина. Про липстатин, мощный ингибитор липазы поджелудочной железы, имеются сведения, что он является полезным при лечении и/или профилактике ожирения и ассоциированных с ним заболеваний. Настоящее изобретение описывает способ, позволяющий получать указанный ингибитор фермента с высоким выходом и высокой чистотой.
