Zusammenfassung:	A pharmaceutical composition is prepared in which a biologically active conjugated protein, which is β- interferon, interleukin II or an immunotoxin, is dissolved in an aqueous carrier medium without the presence of solubilizing agent. The unconjugated protein, which is not water-soluble at pH 6-8 without such a solubilizing agent, is conjugated selectively to a water- soluble polymer which is selected from polyethylene glycol homopolymers and polyoxyethylated polyols.
