Zusammenfassung: | A pin 21 for making a connection between an electrical lead 2 and a printed circuit board 4 is designed with a first part 24 which is inserted in a hole in the printed circuit board and a second part 26 whereby the electrical lead 2 is connected by a sliding contact piece 8. The cross-section dimension d2 of the second part 26 is larger than the cross-section dimension d1 of the first part 24, and between the parts the pin 21 has a shoulder 27 with sharp edges. The hole in the printed circuit board is coated with metal which is connected with electrical leads 3 on the printed circuit board 4 via collars 22. The pin 21 is fixed in the hole by soldering using solder 25, and the flux used for the soldering is heated and creeps along the surface of the pin. The edges of the shoulder 27 prevent the flux reaching the second part 26 of the pin 21 with the contact surfaces 29 between the sliding contact pieces 8 and the pin 21 during the soldering process and forms a contact resistance. The pin 21 has the advantage that the first part 24 of the pin is small and the collars 22 can have small external diameters. This creates space for a greater number of leads 3 between two adjacent pins 21. |
