Zusammenfassung:	A denture cleaning composition comprises an acidic component which gives an acidic solution when the composition is mixed with water and a neutralizing component having a protective coating which causes the neutralizing component to be released over an interval of time to neutralize the acidic solution. A bleaching agent may also be included.
