Zusammenfassung:In a portable radio unit, the connecting contact for making contact with the charging unit for the built-in battery is situated inside the housing of the portable radio unit and is covered with flaps. When the mating connector projecting from the charging unit is placed onto the tumblers of the opening of the portable radio unit, these flap-like covering elements are automatically opened. In one exemplary embodiment, auxiliary pins are used for opening the flaps.
