Zusammenfassung:A microstructured multicore optical fibre suitable for being manufactured with a stack-and-draw method, having a cladding (4.1), surrounding a microstructured area fabricated of a glass. Basic cell comprises a core (2.1) and longitudinal areas (3.1) embedded in a matrix of glass especially of doped silica glass, or of polymer, surrounding said core (2.1). Longitudinal areas (3.1) have a refractive index lower than a refractive index of the cladding. Said basic cell comprises twelve longitudinal areas spaced by a lattice constant A located on vertices and middle points of a hexagon, so that the twelve longitudinal areas (3.1) surround the core (2.1) and an internal cladding. At least two basic cells are juxtaposed, so that a distance between the cores (2.1) in the adjacent basic cells is equal to 4 A or 23 Λ.
