Zusammenfassung:A pitch bearing 50 for coupling a rotor blade 20 to a hub 18 of a wind turbine 10 includes an outer race 52 configured to be coupled to the hub 18, an inner race 54 rotatable relative to the outer race 52 and configured to be coupled to the rotor blade 20, and a first plurality of line contact rolling elements 56. The outer race 52 defines a first outer raceway wall and the inner race 54 defines a first inner raceway wall. The first plurality of line contact rolling elements 56 is disposed between the first inner and outer raceway walls. Each of the plurality of line contact rolling elements 56 defines a predetermined contact angle 80, 82. The predetermined contact angle 80, 82 is defined as an angle between a reference line 73, 74 extending perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of one of the plurality of line contact rolling elements 56 and a reference line 75 extending parallel to a horizontal plane of the pitch bearing 50. Further, the predetermined contact angle 80, 82 includes angles between 0 degrees ° and 90°.
