Insulating glazing (I), at least comprising a first pane (12), a second pane (13) and a third pane (14) and a peripheral spacer (1), wherein - the spacer (1) is formed by a polymer basic body at least comprising a first pane contact surface (2.1) and, extending parallel thereto, a second pane contact surface (2.2), a first glazing interior surface (3.1), a second glazing interior surface (3.2), an outer surface (4), a first hollow chamber (5.1) and a second hollow chamber (5.2), - the spacer (1) has a groove (6) for receiving a pane, which groove extends parallel to the first pane contact surface (2.1) and second pane contact surface (2.2) between the first glazing interior surface (3.1) and the second glazing interior surface (3.2), - the first hollow chamber (5.1) adjoins the first glazing interior surface (3.1), and the second hollow chamber (5.2) adjoins the second glazing interior surface (3.2), - the lateral flanks (7) of the groove (6) are formed by the walls of the first hollow chamber (5.1) and of the second hollow chamber (5.2), - the first pane (12) is connected to the first pane contact surface (2.1) via a seal (10), - the second pane (13) is connected to the second pane contact surface (2.2) via a seal (10), - the third pane (14) is formed by at least one thermoplastic polymer pane (20) in a thickness of at least 3 mm, - the thermoplastic polymer pane (20) has at least one taper (15) in the edge region of the third pane (14) and - the third pane (14) is inserted, in the region of the taper (15), into the groove (6) of the spacer (I).
