In the flat steel wire: a short side of the cross section is 2 mm to 7 mm; a long side of the cross section is longer than 8 mm to 56 mm; a ratio of the long side to the short side is more than 4 to 8; a tensile strength is 1900 MPa or more; and a twisting value is 12 times or more.
