Zusammenfassung:	A method for operating a horizontal axis wind turbine (10) is provided, the wind turbine including: a rotor (18) including a rotor blade (22), wherein the rotor is rotatably coupled to a nacelle (16), and the rotor is rotatable about a horizontal rotor axis (30) extending through the nacelle (16), and the nacelle is rotatably coupled to a tower, the nacelle rotatable in a yaw plane (200) about a yaw axis (38). The method includes determining a wind direction (28); determining a yaw angle setting (210), wherein the yaw angle setting deviates from an alignment of the rotor axis and the wind direction in the yaw plane; yawing the nacelle to the yaw angle setting; and operating the wind turbine for example to generate electricity.
