The machine has two reservoirs (7, 8) arranged in a drawer (6) for storage of a sufficient amount of a liquid laundry detergent. A removal device automatically removes the laundry detergent from the reservoirs and comprises an adapter unit that is placed above the reservoirs in a use position. The adapter unit comprises suction tubes and level sensors where the tubes and the sensors project into the reservoirs in the use position of the adapter unit. The level sensors comprise electrodes. The drawer comprises two lateral side regions (21, 22) and a bottom portion (24). The liquid laundry detergent is formed as a multi-colored laundry detergent, a cook laundry detergent, a fabric softener or a textile finisher.
