Zusammenfassung:A CO 2 recovery device 10 according to this embodiment includes a cooling tower 16 including a cooling unit 11 for bringing the flue gas 14A, which contains CO 2 , into contact with water 15 so as to cool flue gas 14A; a CO 2 -absorbing unit 12 for bringing the flue gas 14B into contact with a CO 2 absorbent (lean solution) 17 so as to remove CO 2 from flue gas 14B; and a regenerator 21 including an absorbent regenerating unit 13 for releasing CO 2 from a rich solution 18 so as to regenerate the CO 2 absorbent 17. The CO 2 -absorbing unit 12 includes: a cocurrent flow CO 2 -absorbing unit 19 provided in a cocurrent flow CO 2 absorber 22, for bringing the flue gas 14B into contact with the CO 2 absorbent 17 in a cocurrent flow so as to remove CO 2 from flue gas 14B and a countercurrent CO 2 -absorbing unit 20 provided in a CO 2 absorber 23, for bringing the flue gas 14C into contact with the CO 2 absorbent 17 in a countercurrent flow so as to remove CO 2 from flue gas 14C.
