Zusammenfassung:	The valve (2) has a frame (4) including an air intake opening (6), and a valve flap (10) connected with the frame and pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis (8) between an open position and a closed position (12), where the valve flap rests on an upper profile (14) of the frame in the closed position, and forms a flow aperture (18) in the open position. The frame includes a sealing surface (20) to cover a gap between the frame and side edges of the valve flap, where the valve flap projects by an amount of 30 percent over the surface of a lower transverse profile (16) in the open position.
